Beautiful experience
Beautiful hotel in Juba. Very kind staff, nice pool, great SPA. We stayed with a group of 18 people returning from East Equatoria and were welcomed very well. They held our luggage for a week. The excellent buffet restaurant

Good hotel.
Good hotel with a nice swimming pool. The rooms are clean and the air conditioning works.
The spa area offers massages at a good price. Complimentary breakfast is varied and plentiful.
The bar has a varied menu with pizza, hamburguers, meat, fish, salads... the prices are on a normal level.

I wish I knew sooner to stay away from this hotel
I wish I could give a positive review, but unfortunately not.
Terrible customer service, food made me sick multiple times (often inedible/cold) and some of the (especially female) waitresses have horrible attitudes to the guests. Do not recommend.
There is no complaints department, and what makes it worse is that your complaints go unnoticed. Terrible for especially an establishment such as a hotel, for local citizens as well as those coming from abroad such as myself.
I’ve stayed in many hotels in Juba and this is unfortunately the worst. It is not guest-friendly at all.

Very good
we were booked here both on the arrival as well as on departure. unfortunately the booking on arrival was changed, as the government comes in sometimes apparently and take over bookings. The hotel offers world-class rooms.

Business Hotel
I stayed here as a tourist for one night before going to see the Mundari tribe.
The hotel access is along a dusty road up from the Afex Camp and leading to the market.
It’s a standard issue Chinese or Arabic type construction faux marble floors construction. There is a pool and large gym with quite a few treadmills and spacious locker room facilities. There is supposed to be a spa with steam and sauna but that was under maintenance. I suspect it will remain so. As a former guest returning from the cattle camp after one night to pick up my luggage and have lunch they let me use the spa showers to clean up for $5.
The rooms are small but have all you need with good air con and WIFI good enough to catch up on emails and What’s Apps. It’s not stable but that’s par for the course in Juba. Expect the standard African maintenance issues (shuddering air con; disco light effects from light fixtures not working properly).
The restaurant, Saffron, serves surprisingly good food with huge and very fresh salads. Lots of fresh fruit juices and Indian veg. dishes. It takes a long time to get the juices though.
Staff are very kind and helpful.
