Great experience!
Cute place, tastefully decorated, a gem in the center of Castellabbate. Great Welcoming, very kind staff. Easily accessible, convenient and close parking, good and hearty breakfast, to be enjoyed outdoors. Excellent connection with the Pancrazio Cucina Cilentana restaurant adjacent to the structure, with very good typical cuisine and tables with panoramic views. Highly recommended!

Bad.
Disappointing experience for not using other terms or maybe it is BAD. But let's get to the point...
On 21/05/2025 I booked a double room superior terrace with outdoor jacuzzi with chek in 19/07/2025 with the intent of making a welcome surprise to my girlfriend and instead they did the surprise to me.
About half an hour before my arrival I am contacted by the reception and I am told that unfortunately there is a problem with the air conditioning on the whole floor and that the technician could not repair it, also the famous jacuzzi always in the morning had given problems so it was unusable ... given that for a structure that charges and not a little a minimum of daily and extraordinary maintenance could also afford it I am proposed a change of date not on Saturday but at their convenience, of course I had taken the weekend off work commitments 2 months before and half an hour before the check in for sure was impossible to change the date for me but especially having to stay on their dates! But it’s not over chek in fact broken air conditioning, jacuzzi ditto with lots of small cobwebs inside, well let’s take a shower just to recover from the heat ... and as if by magic there is no hot water in the room, I call the lobby and they come to check. I am told that during the hours with little turnout in the structure the temperature of the hot water is automatically adjusted to a lower level but under my recommendation it would have been raised (so for a warm shower I have to wait for guests to arrive at rush hour..... ???? ridiculous enough to say even that is taste) moral of the story I showered at 17.30, at 01.00 at night at 08.15 the following morning always cold (so hot water out of order as air conditioning and jacuzzi). The breakfast is very varied but without any description from juices to cakes in short, you must first taste then you understand that it is ... In short, being a hotelier is not for everyone but just have a little honesty and do not notify half an hour before if there are problems, also because at that point to not lose advance and weekend one goes there anyway and it seems to me a strategy to say the least honest in order to make cash.
But they were kind they took 30€ from the agreed price...
Poor management is not enough a structure in a beautiful village to define themselves as hoteliers.

Hidden but amazing!
Castellabate has many alleyways and intricate passageways - the hotel fits in seamlessly. Once you find it - it is easy to walk the town. The rooms were spacious. The evening meal outside in the restaurant was lovely. The staff had good knowledge of the local wines and dishes. The hotel is perfect for amazing views of the countryside- “an Italian village on a hill”!

Relax
The palace is located in the heart of Castellabate. We stayed in the room San Pietro a particular room made of living stone. We also had dinner at the restaurant, a menu of sea and land, all very good with affordable prices... also equipped for allergies, they immediately made themselves available to the child celiac making him a delicious pasta with sauce. An experience to try
