many thanks for your comprehensive review. All our team were pleased to read your kind comments. The kitchenettes are not normally opened, unless requested, or for medium and long stays visitors. You can of course ask for the kitchenette to be opened for you at anytime during your stay. I do agree that the weather is not the best in our area and I hope you were not inconvenienced too much regarding our car park. However, the intercom arrangement we have at the gates is of benefit in order to make the facility secure.

Disgraceful
When we realised the error, we immediately contacted the hotel to rectify the situation and discuss alternative arrangements. However, instead of showing empathy or willingness to assist, the hotel staff accused us of being aggressive, which was completely unfounded. We were simply trying to resolve the issue and obtain a refund for the mistaken booking.
To make matters worse, they went ahead and canceled the entire stay, insisting that we pay an additional £200 as a security deposit for potential damages. This demand was accompanied by an extremely rude message, which was both unprofessional and disrespectful.
Despite their promises that managers would follow up with us, we never received any further communication from them. This level of neglect and lack of accountability is utterly unacceptable, particularly in the current climate where customer satisfaction and understanding should be prioritized.
Not only has their poor customer service left me feeling frustrated and disappointed, but it has also caused significant anxiety. As a paying customer, I expected better treatment and a more compassionate approach to resolving issues.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against choosing central lodgefor your accommodations. Their handling of this situation has been deplorable, and I would not want anyone else to go through the stress and disappointment that I have endured.

Zero customer service only wants your money
As a result rather than forewarning me on the phone and allowing me to stay on the original dates they created a situation where I waited for their response and the booking lapsed, was cancelled and they took money for providing no service.
This is nothing to do with policy - it would have been easy to cover the policy on the phone, it is simply an unacceptable example of unhelpful customer service that willfully misled and let down their own guests. I wouldn't trust them with any stay.
