All perfect !!!
Our first experience in Trentino in the summer was more than positive.
The hotel is family run and is very welcoming and clean.
Spacious rooms with breathtaking views.
We loved the cuisine and the friendliness of the staff.
I don't rule out returning :)

Manager should close the hotel forever
We decided to spend a couple of days in the paradise of Riva di Tures but unfortunately I chose the wrong hotel that I do not recommend to anyone who wants to spend a few days in peace.
I bought online a 2 night stay at the hotel Pichlerhof paying exactly 363.40€ in advance (I certainly did not think it was possible to complain about such a wonderful place).
Arrived at the property the very rude manager (you can clearly see that it is not his job) checks in and assigns us a room without a number. When we arrived at the room we immediately realized that the room was the service staff: it was not renovated, there was mold on the walls and in the closets there were other people's clothes.
I immediately complained about the condition of the room hoping that the error was not voluntary even if it was impossible since the room was not numbered and had a different key than the others.
The manager, instead of apologizing, assigned us another room and contemptuously told us that maybe this would be better.
Arrived in the new room we immediately noticed a problem: the room was on the ground floor, parking view with transit of numerous cars, it was full of flies and it was about 40 degrees.
Hoping that during the evening the room would cool down we went to dinner. Even the restaurant was full of flies and eating was really complicated (also for the quality of the food).
Back in the room the temperature was obviously very high as there was no air conditioning (actually in the mountains you would not need) but it was not even possible to keep the windows open since the window overlooked the parking lot and so many people passed.
After spending the night blank I decided to go to the reception to communicate that we will leave early because the conditions of the room did not correspond with what was purchased.
At the reception I found the manager's dad who with a limited Italian tried to ask me if everything was ok. Since I respect the age and professionalism of the father I asked to speak with the son (current manager). After 45 minutes of waiting I finally manage to talk to him (in the meantime by phone with his father he had tried to give me a new room bill).
I immediately communicate that we decided to leave the room one day early as it does not correspond to what was purchased and with surprise the manager did not try to understand the reason or appear disappointed in our decision.
I therefore ask to be able to be compensated at least half of the amount but the Lord tells me that I must contact the booking assistance.
Booking then contacted the property to find a deal but of course the manager refused my refund request and for this reason I decided to share my terrible experience at the Pichlerhof hotel in the hope that other naive people like me will understand that it is not appropriate to stay overnight at the Pichlerhof hotel.
I was hoping to spend 2 wonderful days in South Tyrol but here a person who should do something else in life ruined this dream.
My Recommendation to everyone: spend a little more and allow yourself to stay overnight in a place where managers know how to treat their guests.

Good experience.
I stayed in this hotel for 5 days during August with my partner and our 4 year old daughter.
A little dated hotel, although the room we were assigned was recently renovated, and was very nice, even if a little small.
The position of this hotel is enviable, you can enjoy a splendid panorama in the beautiful setting of Riva di Tures.
It also has an indoor swimming pool and hydromassage, the only flaw is that the environment in which they are located is too hot (they keep the heating on even in August).
In front of the hotel there is a slide, a swing and a jumping mat available for children (much appreciated).
Overall friendly and helpful staff, especially the waiter for breakfast and dinner, named Giorgio, who makes you feel really good.
The breakfast is acceptable, the cold cuts and cheeses are excellent, the sweet part is a little less so, especially the jams in single plastic portions are not very nice to look at.
Overall, the dinner was good and plentiful. There are few variations for children, and one flaw is certainly the fact that both at breakfast and dinner there is no possibility of having some fruit.
The fact that my 4 year old daughter didn't pay was excellent, this is definitely an element to take into consideration for those traveling with children.

Direct on the ski slope
This hotel is situated right on the ski slope and is high enough above the valley to be in the sunlight. Down in the village is pretty much in the shade all day long in the winter. The room I was in had a great view of the valley. There was outside seating to have drinks and food, mainly occupied by skiers. The hotel and bar staff were very helpful and friendly.

Torneremo!
L'Hotel Pichlerhof si trova in una posizione spettacolare, sulle piste da sci in inverno e immerso nel verde d'estate. La cucina è buona e abbondante e Giorgio, che gestisce la sala, è simpaticissimo e ti fa sentire a casa. Le camere sono pulite e abbastanza spaziose. Inoltre il titolare si è dimostrato gentilissimo nei nostri confronti: per motivi familiari, siamo dovuti partire in anticipo rispetto a quanto previsto e ci ha scontato i due giorni che ci rimanevano. Torneremo di sicuro il prossimo anno!
