Spacious clean rooms
We used this hotel while we where traveling back from our holiday to Croatia.
Spacious clean rooms with a large balcony. The room had a nice bathroom and the WIFI worked very good.
In the morning we had breakfast. Simple but good with bread, cheeses, eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli. Choices enough.

Worst hotel stay – never again!
A terrible stay. The decor is completely run-down – the mattresses are sagged, the carpet smells strong and does not seem to have been renewed for decades. The host was rude and seemed to have no interest in the guests; in addition, he smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which was very uncomfortable . Breakfast was equally disappointing and seemed to have remained unchanged since the 80s. If you expect a relaxing time and friendly service, this is definitely the wrong place.

Emergency shelter would be better described
The Hotel Münster is creepy No elevator, as the reception was on the first floor and the registration was between the counter and the kitchen.( Terrible )
The decor looked dated, the carpet was worn and smelled musty.
The mattresses were sagged, and the rooms proved very noisy. Although a bar was available, it was not possible to get a beer there. The guest room was also not disabled friendly.
The breakfast was rather sparse and seemed very loveless. When we wanted to pay, we were advised to pay in cash, but strangely we did not receive a receipt.
The staff, whether host, elderly gentleman smelled very strongly of cigarettes. This was also very unkind, condescending towards us.
This was certainly the first and last visit to this hotel Münster.

Got completely ripped off
Full disclosure, I didn't stay here, so I cannot speak to the quality of the hotel itself. Therefore, my rating is based on their customer service as I experienced it.
I booked three nights here through Booking.com, just a few days beforehand. The listing made it seem that 1) I could make a free reservation and cancel if needed, and 2) I would not pay until arrival. Unfortunately, my wife's grandfather took ill, the trip was off, and I cancelled the reservation WITHIN 1 hour. I then discovered that I had been charged the full price of a 3 night stay there with breakfast included. When I contacted the hotel to ask for a refund, I was very brusquely told that there was no mistake, and if I had read the fine print, I would have noticed the condition that cancellation within 7 days means NO REFUND whatsoever. Again, I made this reservation, cancelled it within an hour and lost €264.
When I engaged Booking.com customer service, they tried to help mediate with Hotel Munster twice via phone and email, but to no avail. The hotel refused to give even a partial refund, a voucher, or allow me to move the reservation to another date, which I was willing to do. In their direct messages to me, the staff were quite rude and aggressive even, insisting I was to blame, and they could do nothing. This is the opposite of hospitality, and I would never consider staying here again. These are bad business practices by any measure. Caveat emptor.

Nice and Quiet
We booked for two nights but quickly discovered we could achieve all we wanted to do in the area in a day, the village of an evening was too quiet, no wine bars or beer Kellers to sit in so we sat in our room.
The hotel had a few other guests, most were workers who parked up in vans later on and were gone first thing. Breakfast was simple and nice.
