Only few things missing, that wouldn’t cost much to hotel, but would improve overall staying experience significantly!
Please add liquid body soap/gel to showers. The included little soap bar is awful for showering.
Also a hair dryer would be awesome.
Otherwise VERY nice hotel and pleasant stay. Very clean, friendly staff, helpful, and location is pretty good too. Only short 5min walk to Boulevard, or you can catch a tricycle for 20 pesos and it’s only few min ride.

Not what i've expect.
I arrived around 9pm from cebu and good thing i was able to get the room right away and i was expecting too much on the room but so far its fine i find it a normal hotel room. And its kinda unsual to pass by at the back of the property for the elevator. But i love the most is this breakfast i love their chorizo bungkag.

Home away from home
We stayed for 1 night, the location is very accessible. Our room was spacious, the AC was perfectly working, loved the shower, the bed and pillows were amazing. Value for money 5stars.

Casa Rubin Hotel in Dumaguete Island/Negros is an excellent medium-budget Hotel with nice rooms for anyone who wishes to stay close to Robinson Mall and walkway Dumaguerte! McDonalds is close! For someone who would like a very good Hotel in the center of Dumaguete. This Hotel is nearly perfect for those who seek a good quality Hotel to a budget price. The Hotel is amazing in it´s style. Big rooms and big windows - will give you the feeling of feeling at home. All is very clean!

Casa Rubin Hotel in Dumaguete Island/Negros is close to Robinson Mall. Walking distance to SeaShore. With the tricyle you need only 10 minutes to Ferry.. A very quite area, peaceful and very comfortable. You should stay there - by walking distance to Robinson Mall.
Food:
The breakfast will be served every morning to the guests, very delicious breakfast. Price for lunch or dinner is very valuable from the service you get. The kitchen style of cooking also includes european style of meals, not only asian style. All the meals i ate daily in the Hotel – so delicious!

The staffs are very helpful and friendly, the Management of Casa Rubin Hotel in Dumaguete Island/Negros is excellent and make your stay extremely pleasant. The staffs here are approachable and very friendly and very accommodating. All of their staffs are well-mannered, very accommodating and very friendly.
Rooms:
Casa Rubin Hotel in Dumaguete Island/Negros offers on the one hand family rooms and additionally on the other hand several kingsizebed rooms with big windows and a very clean and new bathroom. The doubled bed rooms are very relaxing and good in in quality and cleaness. The bed is comfortable, the size of pillows are perfect for my sleeping. Nice spacious room with a comfortable and clean bathroom. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis.
WiFi:
Availible and works around whole Hotel area!
Conclusion:
I will return to Casa Rubin Hotel in Dumaguete Island/Negros definitly when i spend some days for sightseeing in Dumaguete. It is a „must stay in“ if you search for a Hotel close to Robinson Mall. My stay there was very pleasant. I missed NOTHING!
We will come back defintely!

A good option in Dumaguete
Pros:
Affordable and with free plated breakfast ( though with limited choices ).
Rooms are comfortable, good size, good windows.
Bed is comfortable and sheets are clean.
Restaurant is excellent. Good food, spanish cuisine.
Cons:
No elevator, so its a challenge for the handicapped.
Not so clean hallways, staircase, maintenance of room.
Shower doesnt have a curtain, only has a half glass barrier, so water can spill / spray over onto the floor.
Construction ongoing on the east side, noisy.
Front desk staff needs more training. Some of them are not so pleasant ( they dont greet the guests ) and avoid eye contact, EXCEPT for Vanessa who is really friendly.
