Chernobyl Flair
Walking through the property feels a bit like wandering around Chernobyl - a place that seems to have been abandoned decades ago.
The furniture is in the style of the 70s/80s, obviously never been replaced since then, with all the signs of heavy usage you'd expect from such old pieces. Same goes for the doors, windows, and, worst of all, the carpets, which have all the stains of the past 40 years on them.
At least it seemed our bathroom had been painted not too long ago, so at least no visible mold, like I saw mentioned in other reviews. There was no shower curtain though, and nowhere to hang the towels, overall basic commodities you'd expect in any hotel room we're lacking. The beds had some old spring mattresses that should have bee replaced 20 years ago, as they are no longer comfortable.
Breakfast was okay as far as the food was concerned, but it was not always possible to find things like tea cups, and the plates were oddly mismatched, clearly pieces of older sets still in rotation along with the newer ones (which, of course, is not as bad as any of the other things, it's just really not something you are used to seeing at this price range)
On the plus side, the staff were nice (though clearly hired only for the season and powerless to actually fix any issues) and we liked the lakeside sauna.
We were there only for two nights, but to think that one might book a week or two of holidays expecting something more corresponding to the price and then find oneself in this shabby place - that's beyond a rip off, that is some real fraud here. Absolutely not recommended, take your money elsewhere.
