Most peaceful Hotel in the world.
They bake their own bread, which you can buy separately if you want and have two shops that sell local delicacies.
Parking there is no issue, there's enough space.
The breakfast and dinner options are very good, high quality food and of course locally sourced game dishes and spirit drink.
Just remember to take a few shots of Mummelsee Geist (which you can buy there) to ward off the evil spirits.
A few downside pointers:
The hotel Internet is free, but doesn't work very well in the entire hotel, there are weak spots.
The shops close at 5pm on top of the hill, and the other nearest stores are all the way down in the nearest village. Be sure to do your shopping needs before that time.

An otherwise great stay spoiled at check out when the novice was presented
When questioning we were told we emailed our child being 1 year old (instead of 9)
We online checked in 3 days prior to arrival when emailed to do so by the hotel and we clarified the age. We didn’t get informed about the discrepancy.
The presented invoice also included a charge for breakfast although the booking clearly stated breakfast included.
When we queried reception printed an email prior to our original booking were we asked for a “Zimmer für 2 Erwachsene und ein (Jahre altes Kind)” obviously forgetting to add the 9 in the brackets)
Firstly I think the hotel could have clarified then
They should have mentioned it when we checked in online or at check in
AND they also wrongly charged for breakfast
Not great if you need to renegotiate at the end of your stay
The hotel is in a great location
The rooms are really nice and we enjoyed the breakfast and dinner
Staff is really friendly
It’s dog friendly which is great
Lots to do in the area i.e great hikes and views
We like to visit the area again and maybe stay a couple of days longer however due to the issue and the sour taste feeling pressured in taking the full hit on the kids age dispute will look at other places.

First of all, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience and misunderstandings.
It is true that you should have stated the age of the child when booking so that an appropriate calculation could be made (children are only free up to 3 years old). This then led to your initial displeasure.
Breakfast is included in the price you booked. We only have to list it as an "extra item" on the invoice. In return, the room price is reduced by this amount. So if you add the amount for the room price and the amount for breakfast together, you will receive the price you booked. However, this shows the difference to the incorrect age of your child.
Please understand that we also have to calculate the children who have arrived according to their age in fairness and equality with our other guests.
Our greatest wish would be if we could prove ourselves during another stay with you in order to dispel the negative impressions.

Very nice hotel with nice room ambience .
Nice also the bar and drinks selection.
The sauna is ideal at this time of year and also sufficiently large.
Unfortunately, the gastronomy is not convincing in the price-performance ratio.
The menu is small and the game dishes were just off.
We didn't go to the hotel the second night.
